started. Running parallel to this our material storage area was expanded by further storage place including a gantry crane.
The new machining workshop has an area of approx. 60 x 16 meters providing a lot of space for further machines. Further ultrasonic test areas have also been set up here. Two double girder overhead cranes with a loading capacity of 10 and 32 tons ensure secure material transport.
The new gantry crane has a rail length of 94 m and a span of 20 m with a loading capacity of 32 tons. The material being delivered can be unloaded securely with a heavy-duty magnet and stored compactly.
At the end of last year we were able to commence the realisation of the highest individual investment in the history of our company: A new press workshop with a 3.500 ton open die forging press. In order to make way the existing staff parking spaces and ingot stock had to be moved. As soon as the new car park was completed the extensive earthworks for the press foundations and massive hall pillars were started.
